To send money, you do not need to be registered in PINPAD+.
To send money, you need a target PINPAD+
Terminal.
This Terminal is the gateway between you and a money receiver. There are 2 ways to open the
PINPAD+ Terminal of the money receiver. First, using
the PINPAD+ searchbar. Second, using the
receiver's PINPAD+ Terminal direct link.
-
For the first way, you only need the username of the receiver, put it in the searchbar of
the
Terminals view
and
press
the "Go!" button.
-
For the second way, put the PINPAD+ Terminal direct link URL of the
receiver in your browser and open it.
To receive money, you need to register in PINPAD+. Once
registered,
you will be asked to verify your email. Then, you will need to complete 2 steps to start
receiving money:
register a bank account and create a PINPAD+ Terminal.
-
For the first step, open the
Bank Accounts
view. There, you can register
as many bank accounts as you want. Remember that your registered bank accounts must be from
Mexico. If you do not have a Mexican bank account, you can create special bank accounts in
our corporate digital Mexican Bank PINPAD+
Warehouse.
Also, you cna create as many special bank accounts as you need.
-
For the second step, open the
Terminals
view. There, you can create as many PINPAD+ Terminals as you need.
Per Terminal, set 5 properties. First, a "Public Name" to display to anyone that will open
your Terminal. Second, a "Username" that will be used by anyone to locate
and open your Terminal to send you money.
Third, a "Contact Email" to share with you data or notifications related to the Terminal.
Fourth, a "Currency" for the Terminal which can be ARS, CLP, COP, EUR, MXN, PEN, USD, and
UYU. Fifth, a "Target Bank Account" that can be any of the Mexican bank accounts you have
already
registered.
Why is important to set a Currency in a PINPAD+ Terminal?
For example, if you want to receive money from Argentina, you can create a Terminal with ARS as
currency.
In this way, anyone from Argentina (or any other country) who open your Terminal will be asked to
specify an amount to send you in ARS (Argentine peso). Likewise, once someone sent you money,
PINPAD+ will convert it to MXN (Mexican peso). Finally, the amount after our
service
commissions will be sent
to the Terminal's bank account.
How can I send money to a PINPAD+ Terminal?
To send money, you do not need to register in our platform and you can use any bank card.
Once opened the Terminal, specify the card number, expiration date, and security code.
Also, you have to specify the amount to send and accept the terms and conditions.
Then just send the money by pressing the "Send" button. It's important to clarify that everytime
you send money, you have to input your bank card because our platform does not store that data.
It is possible that your card's information loads automatically in the Terminal, but it would be
because of your browser's configuration.
What happens after pressing "Send" button in a PINPAD+ Terminal?
The money will be extracted from the bank account linked to the specified card's information.
Then, it will be sent to the Terminal's bank account as soon as our
inner automated validation finishes and the involved banks complete the operations. With our
platform, the money will appear in the target bank account after 7 business days. However,
since the money has been sent from the Terminal, it will be registered in our system and the
transaction will appear in the
Payments
view with more details such as the original amount that has been sent (we name it "pre-amount"),
exchange rate, the amount after exchange rate to MXN (Mexican peso), service commission, and the net
amount that will be deposited into the Terminal bank account.
